Overview

ExamYield is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly. You can use the site to study without creating an account, and your quiz activity stays on your own device by default. This policy explains what is and is not collected in the current version of the site.

No account required

You do not need to register, sign in, or provide an email address to use this site. There are no user accounts, logins, or profiles.

Progress stored locally

Your quiz progress — including completed attempts, scores, and missed questions — is stored locally in your web browser using localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any server. Because it is stored in your browser, clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or switching devices or browsers will remove or separate this progress.

Analytics

The site may use privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics provided by our hosting platform (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand general usage such as which pages are visited. This is separate from advertising. We do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Hosting providers may also keep standard server logs for security and reliability.

Advertising and Google AdSense (future)

ExamYield does not currently display advertising on the site. We may use Google AdSense in the future to show advertisements that help support free study tools. Connecting the site to AdSense for account or ownership verification does not mean that visible ads are already being served.

If and when advertising is enabled, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, limit how often you see an ad, and measure how advertising performs. Advertising may be personalized where legally permitted and based on your choices and applicable settings.

You can manage personalized advertising preferences through Google Ads Settings. Where legally required, we will present consent mechanisms before using non-essential advertising cookies or similar technologies. This section is informational and is not a guarantee about any particular legal outcome.

Sensitive personal information

This version of the site does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. Please do not submit personal, financial, or confidential information through the site.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for individuals preparing for professional finance exams and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves, including if advertising practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
